Amazon is again trying to prove that it takes fashion seriously.
Amazon Fashion’s latest shopping innovation, The Drop, officially launches today to Amazon customers worldwide. The Drop is an inspiring new shopping experience giving Amazon customer’s exclusive access to street style-inspired collections, designed by influencers from around the world. Available globally across more than 100 countries from day one, The Drop turns your favorite curators into creators and gives influencers the ability both to connect with their followers and to engage new audiences.
Each new limited edition collection will be available to shop for 30 hours only via the Amazon App or mobile browser and will be made-on-demand whenever a customer places an order. By signing up for text alerts, customers will get notified when new collections drop, to ensure they don’t miss out on the latest designs from influencers including Paola Alberdi – who designed the first drop, available today – as well as Sierra Furtado, Emi Suzuki and Patricia Bright to name a few. For even more fresh fashion, Staples by The Drop will offer those wear-on-repeat pieces to layer and pair perfectly with each new collection.

In recent years, Amazon is trying hard to make a place amongst fashion shoppers. Last year, it launched many private brands to provide clothing selections at affordable prices and then it launched Prime Wardrobe- a service which aims at providing latest apparels at try-before you buy experience.
